In the technical design course, the students were challenged to design a bench from two previously drawn materials. The materials of this project were wood and textile. The wooden parts are cut from 12mm thick multiplex wood. We used tension belts which are threaded through the long holes of the wooden boards and keep all parts of the bench tightly together.

The bench does completely without screws or glue. It only contains CNC-milled wooden parts and two tension belts.
